More and More Science

Riley brought brussel sprouts today. They are a vegetable. Cody brought an apple and a raspberry. The apple was maybe a Granny Smith or a Yellow Delicious. He squished the raspberry to see the juice. Emily brought a goose-neck gourd that definately looks like a goose bending down to eat. Emily has named her gourd, Larry. We are going to plant rye and alfalfa. Science will be really fun today. Talk to you later.

I am so excited you are planting alfalfa. It is one of my favorite smells. Emily's grandpa grows alfalfa for his dairy cows.

Good to see you are studying plants. We are Cooper's aunt and uncle from SD. We have a large vegetable garden, a herb garden and many flower gardens. In our vegetable garden this year, we planted tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, corn, eggplant, carrots, lettuce, and beets. Good luck with your planting. It is fun to watch the plant grow from a seed to a plant.
