Red Ribbon Week begins Monday, October 26, 2009. This is where we talk about drugs and staying away from them! On Monday, try to wear silly socks for Silly Sock Day. On Tuesday, we will sign a pledge against drugs. On Wednesday, doors should be decorated for drug safety. On Thursday, we should try to wear RED. On Friday, it will be our Halloween party and we will have a Halloween safety assembly. We will have a good week!!!

I'm so glad you are talking about this in school, because everyone needs to know that drugs are BAD for you. Right, Mikayla?! I can't wait to hear about all the great stuff you learn and do.

What a great week you have planned. It is SO important that you learn how bad drugs are. When you sign the pledge, please be sure to feel it in your heart and carry it with you all your life.

Ana, Grandpa Rick and I will always be there to support you.

This is such an important lifelong lesson. Drugs destroy people's lives, and not just the people who are taking them. I am so glad that my children will have this education reinforced at school. While you all are having fun learning this week, please remember how important the information that you are learning is. Good luck!
