Guidance

There are four kinds of respect. One kind of respect is self-respect. Another kind of respect is respect others, property respect, and authority respect. The Golden Rule is "Treat others the way you want to be treated." We love guidance.

I am thrilled that you are learning about respect in Guidance. It is SO important to have respect for others, for others' property and also for yourselves. I was raised to live by the Golden Rule, and I hope that you all can learn to live it as well.

I remember growing up and my teachers telling me to remember the Golden Rule. Boy were they right! It shows respect for others and they respect you in return. School is a great place to practice this rule, but you should do it all the time.

Creston School has 3 basic rules that the students must follow, all of which have to do with respect. These rules are posted throughout the school for kindergarten students all the way up to high school students.

1. Respect yourself.
2. Respect others.
3. Respect this place.

It sounds like the Creston School rules go along with what you are learning in Atlantic School Guidance Class.

Hi Mikayla and all you other bloggers:
Boy, you are really learning some important things about respect. If everyone in this world respected other people and themselves, regardless of what they looked like, this would be a wonderful world. (It's love! It's love! It's love that makes the world go round! Or change the word love in the song to respect)
Grandma and Grandpa who respect you a lot!
