It's name was Thunder. There were lizards and iguanas. We saw a big spider. It was a tarantula We saw tortoises. One was little and the other was big. We saw skinks. They look like a lizard. Our Thanksgiving Meal
We got to eat in our classroom today. We made place mats and little Pilgrim people. They are neat. We all ate in Mrs. G's room. We chose what friends to sit by. A few people brought their lunch. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, bread and butter, jello, pumpkin pie or harvest bar, and whip cream. It was wicked awesome to eat in our room. The meal was great to eat. Basic Skills Test
We took tests for the Basic Skills. We have special books to use. We have to fill in circles of the correct answer with special pencils. Today we did the Social Studies part. There were many pictures. Some problems were easy, some were medium, and some were hard. There were lots of hard ones. Second graders through eighth graders take the tests. On Monday we took the reading part. We had to read some by ourselves. We have to try our best. Some think it's fun. The computer checks them so we can scribble out of the circles. We're taking them during our reading time. We're back to our blogs. Our projector wasn't working for a few days.

On the ballot there were pictures of the candidates. Yesterday McCain won in our election. John McCain had 174 votes. Barack Obama had 158 votes in our election. Barack Obama didn't win our election, but he won the real one. We had lots of fun.
